Aurora High School Students Donate to NEOVETS!

NEOVETS board members, Rick DeChant, and Bryan A. McGown attended a student rally on December 15, 2017, at Aurora High School to accept a donation from the student body. Each year, the students select area charities, and then conduct numerous fundraising activities throughout the school year. This all culminates in a student rally, student vs. faculty basketball game and a pie-in-the-face for faculty members who have volunteered to help the students raise money! Rick spoke to the students about the NEOVETS mission and thanked the assembled student body and faculty for their service to the community! We are truly honored to be a recipient! I met with an insurance company principal yesterday and he shared the difficulty he is having with locating and attracting veterans, Coast Guard and reservists for his business.
