Bryan “Gunny” has been so helpful in assisting me as an active duty military spouse with finding a job. He started with giving me some suggestions about how to better my resume. He then taught me how to navigate the NEOVETS website and which links to use to find a job in my career path. Once I applied to a job from the website, he put me in touch with someone who worked for the Cleveland Clinic. I was informed of what to expect and had all my questions answered along the way.
Job seeking can be a long process so while I was waiting to hear back from the Cleveland Clinic, Bryan continued to help me search for work. Moving to a new location, especially where no major military presence exists, can cause an added strain to a job search. It’s good to know that there are free resources in Northeast Ohio where military families can get the free help they need! I’m hoping to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Nursing soon to further expand my opportunities, and Gunny will be recommending connections through the NEOVETS College Collaborative with the Cuyahoga Community College.
